Mid September

It's mid to late September and I am busy with all of my festivities...I have so much to do between now and the New Year... it makes me so happy.
But before I go on.. Updates!

Amelia- We celebrated her first birthday the 12th (pics to come on both bdays!)
And she was absolutely adorable in her white dress w/crocheted flowers on the top. I can't believe this year went by so fast. Seems like yesterday I was pregnant with her and trying my best to end my hot swollen pregnant state of being by walking around the greek food festival and eating lots of pineapple and eggplant ( none of that worked).
My sweet little girl has such an attitude and pretty much wants what she wants when she wants it ( I have no idea where she gets that from lol ) What a spirit this child has... she makes me have renewed zest and hope for my own life. From the moment I saw her little wrinkled face poking her eyes up at me wanting me... I was hooked... but from the moment I knew she was in my belly I was in love. It never gets old... it continues to amaze me how much love my heart can hold.

Happy Birthday my sweet Amelia...

William- Well let's just say three has it's moments... The highs are high and the lows... well want to make you bang your head on the pavement and beg for mercy. He so lovingly pours a waterfall over his sister for her bath just to make her cry so he can have the tub to himself. But then in the same moment he will rush to close the doors to different rooms he knows she isn't supposed to wonder into.

My mom and I took William and Amelia to the County fair and he did great until it was time to leave. He rode the train 3 times and even got up front to honk the horn. He had a blast....then was kicking and screaming the whole way back to the car clawing my hand, biting, contorting himself in all sorts of mysterious shapes.... I looked like the worst parent ever... it's a crash and burn scenerio.

He is so sweet and gentle until he isn't... It's hard to remember he's still little too and gets quite overwhelmed by everything so I try to take it easy on him and just snuggle and take it from there...

Kevin- He earned bonus points this week. When he left for work I was still sleeping and he had stashed notes everywhere! I walk into my bathroom to brush my teeth and there is a note saying "I love you" .. I open my drawer for my hair brush and there is a little note saying " you are a great mom!" and then in the fridge on the milk, the cereal box, the bowl, the silverware drawer, and in the pantry were notes... even hanging off the ceiling fan cord... then when I get everything ready and we are heading out there is a note on my dashboard saying " Drive safely and have a nice day I love you"
He drives me crazy....but he also makes me happy and loves me and our kids. I really am happy to have him in my life.

Me-Well like I was saying Autumn is a Busy time for me. Just this week alone I did the fair and tomorrow is the Greek food festival and the Southern Women's show. I plan to hit the Greek fest for lunch, head to the Southern Womem's show then back to the fest for dinner to get my beloved pastchio.
This weekend is filled w/ our normal Saturday Football ritual and Sunday dinner w/ Kevin's dad. Then the next week is 50%off days at KidsMarket in Bham, followed close;y by the kickoff to Oktoberfest activities plus the march for Midwives and the Relay for life rumage sale all in the same weekend!

Needless to say I am a busy woman after August....

Speaking of which I am needing to sleep so updates to come !
