It's our little tradition that right after Thanksgiving we go with my husband's dad to go cut down a tree :) unfortunately my taste in trees varies from huge to gigantic.. but I had to tame it down a little this year and not go for the 12ft ubber tree which was hard to do but I think I did pretty well despite my small stature and warped view of how tall things really are.
We got there and the first thing was to let Buddha Baby loose and romp around.
Then I had to romp myself and try to find our tree.. and poof there it was(after a whole lot of romping....) the perfect tree!
So we had to chop it down...

So after we got everything loaded up and home we had to sort out all the christmas lights ( two strands) and then work around the clock ( 30 minutes) till we finally got the tree completely covered with lights :)
